A Tulsa law firm for survivors and injured people
Our office is at 1733 S. Lewis in Midtown Tulsa. From here, our two attorneys and two paralegals represent survivors of sexual abuse and assault, people hurt in violent crimes and families affected by car and truck wrecks.
If something happened to you or someone you love, you do not have to figure it out alone. We listen first, explain your options in plain language and let you decide what comes next. Attorney Laura Martinez speaks Spanish, so Spanish-speaking families in Tulsa can talk with us in the language they are most comfortable with.
You do not have to have reported it. You do not have to be sure. You can still call.

01
Tulsa County courts and your civil case
Most civil cases for Tulsa residents are filed in Tulsa County District Court, which sits in the Tulsa County Courthouse at 500 S. Denver Ave. downtown. That is where a lawsuit against the person who caused harm, a property owner or an institution would usually begin. Some cases belong in another county or in federal court, depending on where the harm happened and who is involved.
A civil case is separate from any criminal case the Tulsa County District Attorney may bring. It does not require charges or a conviction. It is your case, and it moves forward only with your permission.
02
Wrecks on Tulsa highways and streets
Tulsa traffic runs on a web of busy highways, including I-44, I-244, US-75, US-169 and the Broken Arrow Expressway (OK-51). Heavy commercial trucks share those roads with daily commuters, and crashes at highway speed can cause serious injuries. Wrecks also happen on busy city streets, where intersections, turning traffic and distracted drivers create risk.
After a wreck, get medical care first, keep your records and be careful with the other driver’s insurance company. In most cases, Oklahoma gives you two years to file a personal injury lawsuit, but there are exceptions, so talk to a lawyer about your deadline. You can read more about what to do after a car wreck. If you were hurt in a Tulsa wreck, call (918) 221-3861 and we will walk through your options with you.

Support for survivors in Tulsa
Legal help is only one part of healing, and Tulsa has local services for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and abuse. The Case Family Safety Center brings advocates, law enforcement, civil legal help and counseling referrals together in one place, and it can help with emergency protective orders. If you are in danger right now, call 911.
A civil case can help pay for therapy and medical care, and it can hold accountable the person or organization that caused the harm. You can talk with us at any stage, whether you have already reported what happened or have never told anyone.

Why Tulsa clients call us
We are an all-female team, and for many survivors that matters. Attorney Laurie Koller has practiced law since 1991, has tried more than 100 cases and now focuses on representing survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Attorney Laura Martinez came to this work from corporate finance and public defense, and she serves Oklahoma’s Hispanic community in English and Spanish.
Because we are a small firm, you will know who is working on your case and how to reach them. Learn more about our team, or call (918) 221-3861 when you are ready. Consultations are free and confidential.

Common questions
Questions from Tulsa clients
Where is your Tulsa office?
Our office is at 1733 S. Lewis, Tulsa, OK 74104, in Midtown. You can meet with us there, or you can start with a phone or video call if that is easier or feels safer. If you would like to meet in Spanish with attorney Laura Martinez, just tell us when you call.
Where would my case be filed?
Many cases for Tulsa residents are filed in Tulsa County District Court at the Tulsa County Courthouse, 500 S. Denver Ave. The right court depends on where the harm happened, who is responsible and what kind of claim you have, and some cases belong in another Oklahoma county or in federal court. We will explain where your case would likely be filed, and why, before anything happens.
Will I have to go to court?
Not necessarily. Many civil cases are resolved without a trial, and much of the work happens through paperwork, calls and meetings. If your case does go to court, we will prepare you for each step and be there with you. You will not walk into the Tulsa County Courthouse without knowing what to expect.
Can you help if I live outside Tulsa?
Yes. Our only office is in Tulsa, but we represent people in communities across Oklahoma, including clients in Oklahoma City. Many first conversations happen by phone or video, and we can talk about meeting in person when your case needs it.
