How we help
We bring civil cases for people who were harmed by someone else. Our main focus is survivors of sexual abuse and assault, including people abused as children and people let down by schools, churches and other institutions. We also represent people hurt in car and truck wrecks, families who lost someone, and victims of violent crime.
A civil case is separate from a criminal case. It can go forward even if no one was charged, and it asks the person or institution responsible to answer for what happened. Get to know the women on our team, or send us a private message when you are ready.
Our primary focus
Sexual Abuse and Assault
Civil claims for survivors of childhood abuse, adult sexual assault and abuse by people or institutions you were told to trust.
Personal Injury
Help for people hurt in car and truck wrecks, and for families who lost someone in a wreck.
Victims of Crime
Claims against property owners and others whose poor security let a violent crime happen.

Sexual abuse and assault
Do I have to talk about everything on the first call?
No. You can share as much or as little as you want, and you can stop at any time. Many people start with only a few details, or simply ask how a civil case works. We will not press you for a full account on the first call. We will listen, answer your questions and explain your options in plain words. If talking is too hard right now, you can send us a short message instead and tell us the best way to reach you. Consultations are free and confidential.
Is it too late to take legal action?
It may not be, so please do not assume it is. Deadlines for sexual abuse claims in Oklahoma depend on the facts of your case, such as your age when the abuse happened and who is responsible. These rules are complex, and the answer is different for each person. The safest step is to talk with a lawyer about your deadline as soon as you feel able. We can review your situation in a free, confidential consultation and tell you what we see.
Will my name be made public?
Not always. Many survivors worry about this, and it is a fair question to ask before you call. In some cases, filing under your initials or a pseudonym may be possible, and we will talk with you about whether it fits your case. What you tell us in a consultation stays confidential. We will explain who would see your information at each stage, so you can make choices about your privacy with the full picture.
Car and truck wrecks
What should I do after a car or truck wreck?
Get medical care first, even if you feel fine, because some injuries show up later. If you can, report the wreck to police, take photos of the vehicles and the scene, and get names and contact details from witnesses. Keep your medical bills and records. Be careful with the other driver's insurance company: adjusters may ask for a recorded statement or offer a quick settlement. You can talk with a lawyer before you agree to either. Learn more about car wreck claims.
Why are truck wrecks different from car wrecks?
Commercial trucks are far heavier than cars, so the injuries are often more serious. A truck wreck can also involve several responsible parties, such as the driver, the trucking company, the owner of the truck or trailer, and the companies that loaded or maintained it. Trucking companies follow federal safety rules, and records like driver logs and maintenance files can matter a great deal. Because that evidence can be harder to get as time passes, it helps to talk with a lawyer early. Read more about truck and 18-wheeler wrecks.
Can I bring a claim if a family member died in a wreck?
Yes, Oklahoma law allows a wrongful death claim when someone dies because of another person's carelessness. The law calls for one lawsuit, usually filed through the personal representative of the estate. A claim can include medical and funeral costs, lost earnings, and the loss of your loved one's companionship and guidance. In most cases, Oklahoma gives families two years from the date of death to file, so talk to a lawyer about your deadline. Learn how a wrongful death claim works.
